Lab
There are microcomputer labs located across campus to provide students with access
to word processing, computer aided instructional programs, email, Internet
access, and many other uses. All contain printing
facilities. Faculty may
submit a request for programs to be placed on the network for student use by
filling out the "Hardware/Software Submission Form" on
http://helpdesk.mvnu.edu. Please be aware that the Free
Enterprise Business Center Lab, Founders 208, and the LLRC General Use
Teaching Lab are used for instruction as well as general use. There will be a
note on the door when a class is scheduled. We appreciate your consideration to
facilitate the teaching process by not entering the lab during class times and
leaving before a class session starts. We hope you find the labs useful.

At the beginning of each semester (January is
included in Fall Semester), a credit of $15 will be applied to each
student's printing account. A charge of .06/page black/white will be
deducted for each print. To print in the Mac Lab to the color inkjet, a
charge of .65/page will be deducted. When the account balance drops to $0,
no printing will be possible without adding more to the user's quota or
waiting until the next semester. Quota increases can be paid for during
normal business hours (Monday-Friday: 8:00 am-4:30 pm) in Finance and
Administrative Services in the Parry Business Services building or Student
Accounts in Founders Hall. Note: The remaining quota between semesters carries over between
Fall and Spring semester but starts out at $15 at the start of the new
academic year. No refund is available for unused quota.
The Library is in charge of the following
labs. If you have questions or problems regarding any of the following labs,
go to the Information Desk on the main floor of the Library. The Gen Use Lab
Staff is located at the Information Desk on the main floor. There is a
networked HP LaserJet printer on each floor of the library. All services on
the lower and upper floors of the Library close 15 minutes before final
closing time.
Unless otherwise noted, the labs are open during regular Library hours and
are closed for Chapel and all-University religious and educational events as
posted.

Thursday: 7:45 am - 11:00 pm
Friday:
7:45 am - 8:30 pm
Saturday: 11:00 am - 8:00 pm
Sunday:
7:15 pm - 11:45 pm
