When you complete the Intent to Graduate form, your height and weight information is used to determine cap and gown sizes. Caps and gowns arrive approximately 2 weeks before graduation and may be picked up at your campus Monday-Friday 10:00 a.m.- 2:30 p.m. and 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. There is no extra fee for caps and gowns and you may keep yours as a souvenir. Where can I get graduation announcements?
They may be purchased through the MVNU Bookstore.

What are "Honors?"
Latin Honors are awarded to students in undergraduate programs and are based on cumulative grade point averages. The criterion to receive Latin Honors is as follows: Cum Laude, 3.5-3.69; Magna Cum Laude, 3.7-3.89; Summa Cum Laude, 3.9-4.0. Students may also receive the award of Valedictorian, student with the highest cumulative GPA in the Adult and Graduate Studies classes, and Salutatorian, student with the second highest GPA in the Adult and Graduate Studies classes. Determination of these awards is made approximately six weeks prior to commencement. Any GPA changes after that date will be recorded on the diploma and official transcript. Honor cords are issued immediately prior to the commencement ceremony.

When will I receive my diploma?
No diplomas are issued before commencement, nor are actual diplomas distributed at graduation. The week after commencement, final audits are completed and diplomas are ordered. You will receive your diploma approximately 4-6 weeks later if you have completed your required coursework and have settled your account. It is important that you carefully print your name on your Intent to Graduate form, indicating exactly how you would like it to appear on the diploma and in the commencement program.

How can I receive my official transcript?
Official transcripts are available approximately three weeks after your final day of class and can be obtained by submitting a written request to the Academic Record and Registration Office, Attn.
