Life at MVNU goes way beyond the books. You’ll have every opportunity to get involved in campus activities that will enrich your experience as a student. Join one of the more than 50 student-led clubs and organizations (or start one of your own!). Engage in a little friendly (and free!) athletic competition by participating in intramurals. Rent a kayak or bike from our REC for a day on the Kokosing river or trail with friends. Plug into a small group, a CoSMO service project, or an international mission trip. Faith, fun, and adventure await!

MVNU presents final music concert of school year

The Music Department at Mount Vernon Nazarene University will present the final concert of the year on Saturday, April 27, at 3 p.m., in the R.R. Hodges Chapel Auditorium. The concert is free and open to the public.

Castleman inaugurated as MVNU’s 8th President

“As we start a new chapter here at MVNU, I am reminded today of the new opportunity set before each of us,” said Dr. Castleman. “I say ‘us’ because today is not simply about me. It is about the ‘whole’ organization and the commitment to building on the past and forging ahead to a new and bright future together. Today is a day of decision and destination for us as a Christ-centered academic community committed to changing the world with the love of Jesus Christ. We must stake a claim today that we are going to move forward, honor the past, and, more importantly, move ahead and do things that many will not do.”
